Die Flügeldecken dieses Käfers sind dünn wie Papier, was es ihm ermöglicht, bei der Nahrungssuche unter die Baumrinde zu kriechen. Das abenteuerliche Insekt wird über 10 cm groß und ist in Regionen um Java, Borneo und Sumatra beheimatet.

 

This fantastic insect is the thinnest beetle in the world. Its elytra are paper thin so while searching for food it's able to move under the bark of trees. This adventurous looking beetle can achieve a body size of more than 4" and is located in Java, Borneo and Sumatra.
