Langarmkäfer

Dieser große und faszinierende Langarmkäfer lebt in einem Verbreitungsgebiet von Asien bis Indien. Die Vorderbeine der Männchen sind stark verlängert. Der Halsschild glänzt grün metallisch während der Rückenpanzer ein orangebraunes Zeichenmuster aufweist. Er ernährt sich vom Saft der Zuckerpalmen.

 

This fascinating long-armed chafer beetle lives in a distribution area from Asia to India. The forelegs of the male is extremely extended. The neck shield shines green metallic while the back shield is colored in Brown and Orange shades. It feeds on the juice of sugar palms.
